Community involvement
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Googong High School Parent Working Party (2026)
During our establishment year, Googong High School is ably assisted by a group of parents and school community members who are helping to shape our future P&C. Our working party meets once a term to provide feedback on key school directions and help shape the P&C structure for years to come.
The working party is open to all parents and community members and does not require membership. Keep an eye on meeting dates through our mailing list, social media pages and website.
Googong High School Parents and Citizens Association (2027)
Our highly enthusasiastic and enaged community have voted to form a formal Googong High School P&C which will commence in 2027. Further information about the P&C and meeting times will become available towards the end of 2026. For inquiries, please contact us.
Volunteer at our school
Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- helping in the canteen
- getting involved in the P&C
- listening to children read in the classroom
- volunteering on sports days and other school events
- helping supervise excursions.
